The Internet Synchrochasm

The blog. is-zzz back.

Zip Drone

I've decided to come back to the blog and update it more regularly. With PICTURES! Not only that but I've set up a dedicated Facebook page for SkatRadioh. If you're logged in to Facebook you can 'like' my page and check it out from the top of the sidebar here. You can also 'like' any individual posts I make and even share them from my blog with a comment. You'll find a Like button at the bottom of those posts. I'd love to see some people try it out so I know it's working, thanks!

I'll be back soon with current events and show posters I've been working on. Catch ya later!

The Return of the 'Saurs - "Pizza Warz"

Here's an incompleted drawing that was turned into a flier for a recent joint themed birthday party for me and Maygun. This should make it to a screen print along with a series of supportive work. I'll spend the next year drawing dinos and other cool things.

The dinosaurs were relocated 65.5 million years ago by a space faring race when the Earth suffered an asteroid impact. While Earth's habitability returned for the now ruling hominids, the dinosaurs have had plenty of time to advance their own kind under the protection of their saviors, the Anodytes. A recent survey of the human planet by those outside our scope attracted the attention of a group of vicious mechanical beings that inhabit space. A long time enemy of many galactic peace keeping forces, the protectors of the universe have taken action to keep us from extinction, or rather, extermination.

It is now the beginning of the Pizza Warz. Life on Earth has taken the brunt of conflict and the dinosaurs have come back from their original refuge planet Dinoxia. Stand your ground! We shall fight together, resist the encroaching forces of the Atropi, and experience space outside our star system.

Also, here's a photo of the print from the planetarium show that I did not put up yet.

Color Theory ≈ Theology

Color theory. There are a variety of theories that claim "primary" colors. The "primaries" define the gamut, or range, of colors that can be achieved when mixing them. Whether it be additive(RedGreenBlue), subtractive(CyanMagentaYellowKey(black)), more obscure(Munsell's color system or the Lab color space) or traditional artist dogma(RedYellowBlue), they all have their limits on the available gamut. No single concept proves to be an ultimate solution in the quest to fully perceive color. Our shortfall understanding of color has little history and continues to be observed.

Do not tell me I should not have faith in my primaries, for I will not tell you that you should not have faith in your god.
